Togo and Family

From where we are to that building on the horizon is where we drove. There is an under water highway!! Super scary but fun....Denson, Tyrone, Mali, and Mia- we are definitely taking you there when you visit!

After the assembly at the Ebina Branch, Yusuke wanted to take me to check out the ocean view... It was freezing cold...

but so sweet of him to do that for me.

The picture above is our favorite and was taken by Togo. Who is Togo you ask??

Togo is Yusuke's best friend and childhood buddy! That's him with his lovely wife Naomi and their cute son Yuto. We stopped by after the assembly..

and they took us out to Denny's!!!

I think Yuto enjoyed our company as well. I hope to have a child one day who is so willing to have us pick his nose....

We had a great time with them... We'll definitely visit again!

Circuit Assembly April 2010

We were pretty excited about joining our first Circuit Assembly 3 hours away from home! Yusuke conveys that excitement better than I can...

Narita English Congregation minus my hubby. (he's taking the picture)

I(Ely) look super old.

Narita English Congregation- with my husband in it this time. (Rikki is taking the picture)

We parked a few minutes away from the Ebina branch and walked through neighborhoods to get inside.

Brother Masaki Matsubara, a dear friend of ours from our congregation helping out with the parking.

Random people except for the woman in the picture. Her name is Olga and yes, she's Russian. We made friends and she even taught me a few Russian phrases.

FUYUMI!!!!!!!!!!! My good friend who visited Saipan years ago. She jumped off high rocks at Grotto and even went crab hunting with my mom!! I stayed with her at Gold Beach Hotel to keep her company... she went to Nepal for a year and is back to help with the English Congregation. She is an awesome sister..and friend..

Our good friend and Yusuke's pal Rikki. He is a down to earth guy and real fun to be with... Yusuke and I enjoyed getting to know him better at Ebina.

Yuko,Sachie, and Fumie- good friends from Narita English Congregation.

Our Japanese Flower Garden

These aren't roses but they sure do look like them. Yusuke and I visited this park one early morning before meeting the group for service...

which explains why I look half asleep in this photo.

My hubby looking cute...

Some pretty flowers near a windmill..which you will see in other photos...

I took this photo of a lone but pretty flower at a sister's house after the service group. Her name is Fumie Hanzawa and her room mate is Mari Arita. We are all part of the Narita English Congregation.

These bright red flowers shine brilliantly under the sun right in front of Yusuke's parent's house. I love how vibrant they are...

I took this picture while walking around our neighborhood in Someino...(the name of the area we live at-almost like a town)...

Yusuke and I took these pictures at night... the dew drops are amazing...

I took this shot from inside the car while driving near the train station in Narita. That's where we do street witnessing.. I'm not a fan of purple and orange but I must say that when Jehovah puts them together, it looks breathtaking!!
Align Center

Yusuke and I both love roses which have been in full bloom since early spring!

We were both out in service and towards the end, we stopped at the side of the road to watch these roses...

My favorite rose...as you can see on the right side of the photo above.

The Most Interesting Museum Visited Thus Far in Japan!

At the end of the day, Zenette gives her final pose...

Uncle Dave content with our day together. We are heading out of the museum... What museum you ask?? Look down below...

My hubby standing by a structure of what the ancient Japanese people might have looked like.
Ancient tools used to weed out sea weed in Japan. While up above the water in a little boat, the long poles are dipped into the water and raked thru the sea weed. Once the sea weed is felt, the person above would then twist the pole and then finally pull it out. I found this fascinating!

Fishing boat and tools used in the ancient times in Japan.

Bone structures of the ancient Japanese people. I think I might blend in a bit...

Yusuke's ancestors. My husband looks a hundred times cuter I think!

Zenette even took time to do informal witnessing at the museum.

Pottery discovered in Japan.

Dave enjoyed the trip we took to a museum near our home. Better than the art museum we went earlier aye?!!! Definitely.

Abunai!!(Dangereous) Cute nonetheless.

The Pfisters and Mutos together in Japan! It was nice having friends from Saipan visit us. Yusuke and I enjoyed the time we had catching up with new stories. Yusuke's parents and sister enjoyed their company as well. We had a very nice family together.
Super cute picture of a random girl staring into the eyes of this bird. I think it's part of the family of Swans originating from China. Anyway, though this was a cute site, we couldn't help squirm at the thought of the bird pecking her eyes out... We all wondered what her parents were thinking...

Very cute.

Breakfast and Sakura Trees

Yusuke and Dave enjoying the scene! Very peaceful indeed.

I love this view. The white dots are swans.

Breakfast and Sakura Trees

Our day together with our friends Dave and Zenette. Breakfast at CoCo's first then a beautiful day at the park. The Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Trees were in full bloom!
